Sheet rock is going up in our apartment this weekend and I went to pick paint colors last Friday. I think there may actually be a light at the end of this tunnel. It's only a tiny little glimmer, but it's a light nonetheless!!!!
We take any glimmers we can get. That is SO exciting. Once the sheetrock gets up, you can really see the place FORM, it's so great! Then it's just that blasted spackel, sand, prime, paint job. Ugh. It'll get there!
Dad started talking about doing "custom" kitchen counter tops today. I don't think Mom will let him, but my first reaction was... there goes the glimmer.
